Last month we dropped a number of changes to help improve your experience on PlotSnag.

✅ Sharpened up the Snag report design.

✅ Introduced greater clarity in the trade email instructions.

✅ Boosted the web portal experience to make it easier to onboard new team members.

This month, we will bring more of the same, look out for…

👨‍💻 Completely revamped offline mode, making sure you continue to snag wherever you are.

👨‍💻 Improved insight into every report sent, were making sure you know know when you sent it and who received it, so you’ll always have an audit trail.

👨‍💻 Enhanced snag table capability in the web portal giving you improved controls to sift through the detail and the ability to export live snag lists.

🧪AI

In the last few months, we have been diving into the opportunities that AI can bring us and more importantly you, our community. We have always been advocates of only introducing this where absolutely necessary and beneficial.

This month we have set our model to work to see from the snag detail what sort of insights our members will be able to glean. Just to build your appetite, heres a flavour of some of the successful questions that we have been able to ask.

• “I’ve got a decorator coming to site on Monday next week, are there any issues currently in plots which they could tackle in the day while they are here?”

• “Given the current list of defects across the site, could you give me an idea of best the sequence in which to organise the trades to rectify the issues and an estimated timeline as to how long this would take”

• “Are there any plots that are showing trends of defects that are a higher rate than the norm? Are there any significant defects at these plots?”

• And the question on everyone’s lips - “What time of day do my site teams like to snag?”

❓ Handy Tips.

We always listen to feedback and sometimes that just means helping our community when they hit problems. Unfortunately we can’t avoid every issue but the handy tips below can help make sure your device is in good working order to use our apps.

1️⃣ Make sure your device is up to date by upgrading the latest software updates from your provider. For Apple users try this page & for Android users, this page will give you some guidance. This is always good for security too!

2️⃣ Offline mode, we realise that available signal is not just on or off. You could also find yourself in locations with partial signal. To avoid difficulties with PlotSnag trying to work under low signal conditions (and if you’re able to) you can always switch your device to airplane mode which will ensure that offline mode remains constant throughout your snag session.

3️⃣ Where possible, always keep your PlotSnag, PlotBREL or PlotFire app updated to the latest version, that will ensure you have the best possible experience. Again where possible you can turn on auto updates so you never miss a beat. For Apple users try this page & for Android users, this page will give you some guidance on upgrading apps.
